Victoria, BC Canada - Day 10
Due to some rough seas and almost a full sea day our final stop was in Victoria, B.C. for a few hours right around sunset. Because we didn’t have much time and the port was so far away from the city we decided to just jump on a bus and ride in for a quick walk around the downtown area. There are some pretty interesting buildings right near where they dropped us off and a beautiful overlook of the harbor.
Ketchikan, AK - Day 9
Due to the distance between Ketchikan and our next port in Victoria we didn’t get to spend a lot of time in Ketchikan as we’d like, but we made the best of it. Upon coming into port there were several seaplanes coming in alongside the ship which was great to see. We decided to catch the lumberjack show which is really entertaining and then spend the rest of our time walking around the small port town and grab a bite to eat.
Glacier Bay, AK - Day 8
Our day in Glacier Bay National Park was our cruise's most exciting and highly anticipated part. If you have had the opportunity to cruise through this national park, you know it is nothing short of amazing. Some fun facts about Glacier Bay are that it is 3.3 million acres with over 1,000 glaciers. Due to its size, only two cruise ships a day can cruise into the park. During our time, we visited seven glaciers by sea.
